From The Ground Up Thought
Poor whynotrachel.com. I continue to use and abandon it. Now I want to use it for snippets of thoughts and words I’m playing with. A home for my mental scrapbook, where an ideas does not have to be complete to be alive. A place to enjoy a raw word diet.
So welcome to my treehouse. You’re welcome to come in and hang out and be yourself here. You’re ideas don’t have to be completely formed to be worth mentioning. A poem can be one hot line you want to build something around. A story idea can be just that, an idea. Here grammar is not king and you don’t have to know what the ending is before you begin.

Hey, this sounds great. I love your invitation.
Poem
I sit in my atelier.
A fancy word for attic bedroom.
My former life condensed around me.
Distilled, actually.
Happiness radiates from me.
Who knew this could happen
After all I knew fell apart?
